On Our Way

Cecilia and I arrived safely in Boston after a true Red Eye flight from Seattle.  What was the first thing we did? Starbucks of course!

Then we met up with Carolyn and called Therese to get this party started!

8:00 AM put us in the car with Therese and we began the 10 hour drive to Prince Edward Island. We did not keep with our Dad's rule of 150 miles or three hours before a bathroom break but hey what do you expect for four women over 45?   It was a long drive but it gave us time to do some catching up.

We made our way through Massachusetts then a short jog across New Hampshire.  The biggest attraction we saw was the HUGE liquor store right off the freeway that served as their rest stop.  What could we do but check it out?

Next was a long trek through Maine and across the border into New Brunswick.

Thirteen hours after leaving Boston, we arrived at our cute little cottage on Prince Edward Island.  It is just perfect, it has a little kitchen, dining table for four, a sofa and two bedrooms. Plenty of room! Way more than any KOA. There are cottages all over the island that keeps it quaint instead of big hotels.

We are happy and tired and looking forward to tomorrow at Green Gables.
